										We had a wonderfull stay. The location was just perfect. We were able to walk to the supermarket and boulangerie. We’ve  enjoyed the wellness and the beautiful view from out appartment.  Unfortunately the dishwasher was broke but the service was great and in no time it was fixed.  The appartment could use a little upgrate though, specially the sofa’s/beds in the livingroom. And a bigger tv. All the compliments for the staff, they were very nice and helpfull.

The people here seem friendlier and more authentic than in the larger ski resorts. Of all the locations in Les Balcons, the staff here are the friendliest and most helpful. The ski area is beautiful, but a bit too easy for advanced skiers. There are also many slopes to get from one section to another. The slopes were very crowded and busy, which wasn't always safe. The apartments in the various locations in Les Balcons have been more or less the same for 20 years, and some things are outdated. Everything could be a bit more practical. A whirlpool bath, for example, is useless; a walk-in shower would be nicer. The double beds are only 1.40 m by 1.90 m, which is really outdated and not conducive to a good night's sleep. However, the rooms aren't much larger, and we noticed that in some rooms the door wouldn't open with a larger bed. This will undoubtedly be better in Les Balcons Platinum, but given the already high price of the basic Les Balcons, we expect them to move with the times in that regard as well.

This made getting ready a rush as we were all queuing for the only shower. ||Be aware that there is no one available at reception after 8pm. ||We arrived late due to traffic and accidents- we checked in just in time. Very rushed. ||Nearly €60 to park the car for a week. I think when paying the prices we paid….a parking space should come included in price. ||The SPA is a nice touch BUT you have to keep your wet towels to bring back. I’ve not had to do this in previous hotel’s, I would expect a SPA which is attached to the 5star building to be giving clean towels out when needed. ||Overall we had a lovely holiday. |Ski in, ski out. |Sherpa & patisserie within close walking distance along with gondola. ||We would definitely return 👍🏻

										Apartment and resort review|It was excellent. Very spacious apartment had everything we needed, the bath was a surprise which was super as it was a jet whirlpool bath, we even had a nice picnic table on the balcony. The pool was a short walk and was super for the kids we went to the pool as much as possible. I see a few people moaned about the spa, but I can honestly say its brilliant. It was 3 or 4 whirlpools including 1 outside. The spa bit is really nice, with 2 steam rooms and 4 saunas including 1 outside. It gets a bit busy the pool area between 5-6pm, the last hour for families is much better. There is a public bath with spa just a short walk when you can't use it on the Wednesday. However, be warned, you need swim caps and proper speedo style trunks, they won't let in the door unless you have these. The Balcon's pool though you are fine in normal swim stuff, and they provide you with towels. The one thing I would say they can do is make the hot tub actually hot, it's a little on the cooler side for me. ||For ski equipment you get a large locker room for no extra cost which was great. If you're snowboarding though the locker rooms don't really get warm enough to dry your boots if they become wet, so I had to take my snowboard boots to the room to dry them out which you're not allowed to do. ||Location, its perfect, it's pretty much ski to your door, its super easy if you have kids in ski school. Also, it's in the best part of the resort, Lanslevillard is the best spot for beginners as its super easy access to the best beginner runs in all of Val Cenis, also your 1 lift away from the Snowpark. As an experienced snowboarder I found the Termignon Val Cenis area very quiet and fun but for beginners it's no good, too much trekking to get back and the lift system on that side is a bit more challenging. ||A big plus even in school holidays this resort is super quiet, our kids in the afternoon only had 3 in the ski school class so it was pretty much 1 to 1. Warning though if you are self catering in the apartments, the supermarket although very convenient is 2 or 3 times the price you would normally pay 6-7Euros for a box of eggs. You need to go down to Lanslebourg supermarkets or even better Intermache Contact Val Cenis for some normality. ||A couple of things that irritated me "Resort wise", 1. Dog poo, the resort "not Balcon's" needs to sort out dog poo, coming from the UK where we are used to picking up poo, it's just everywhere. 2. All the best runs I feel especially for beginners are in the trees or lower down, later in the season it's a little low so they tend to get a bit trashed either by warmer conditions or a bit of rain. The Snowpark sits at about 1500M, which is a little low, so they closed it off quite often because it was getting trashed. ||We had a trip to Aussois which is 15 mins away, This resort is excellent its right on your door step, it's much better when higher up as its south facing and you don't get the winds, the run back down to the bottom is lovely and it's good over all for beginners the slopes are wider. snow park though is none existent but its a powder heaven if you want off piste without trecking. We also visited Valfrejus and La Norma, Now Valfrejus would be a great place for skiing as they have amazing powder and long red runs, however most of the area was closed as it had too much snow fall in the night. La Norma is the place to go though if you like snowboarding and want a pretty good snow park, the Snowpark is excellent for Beginner to intermediate a lot of boxes and ramps with an easy lift that runs next to it so you can just hit it over and over. La Norma was surprisingly my fav out of the 4 resorts, it was warner and sheltered and the place was empty, so the runs don't get trashed at all. Red runs are lovely. All these options on your doorstep from your stay. Big shout out to ESF ski school they are also excellent. ||I have been skiing and snowboarding for 30 years been to most of the big resorts, so you can trust my review.

										We had a great stay. The chalets are comfortable and traditional. Well stocked kitchen although limited work space but enough equipment, glasses, plates etc. beds were surprisingly comfortable. We had the 6/8 person 3 bedroom apartment for 4 of us-I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any smaller than it was. Slightly odd layout-when my youngest need the bathroom she either had to come through our bedroom to our ensuite or go to the other side of the apartment to my other daughters ensuite! The Sherpa mini mart sold anything you could think of-great to have it there for extra bits. (We did a big initial shop before we started up the mountain as cheaper!) We stayed in block 8 which was right next to the piste, great location.

We had the 6/8 person 3 bedroom apartment for 4 of us-I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any smaller than it was. Slightly odd layout-when my youngest need the bathroom she either had to come through our bedroom to our ensuite or go to the other side of the apartment to my other daughters ensuite! The Sherpa mini mart sold anything you could think of-great to have it there for extra bits. (We did a big initial shop before we started up the mountain as cheaper!) We stayed in block 8 which was right next to the piste, great location.

										We were a group of 7 friends at a 10 person apartment. We went at the end of July for a birthday. Money value for stay and location is great. In less than 1h you can reach a lot of activities, such as hiking, canyoning, pedal boat at the lake, fort, sled trace, paragliding.The room was a good size, it was clean, we had a fireplace with free firewood. The view from the window was amazing, the free spa was good, and the night was quiet.We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place for the summer stay.

						We were a group of 7 friends at a 10 person apartment. We went at the end of July for a birthday. Money value for stay and location is great. In less than 1h you can reach a lot of activities, such as hiking, canyoning, pedal boat at the lake, fort, sled trace, paragliding.The room was a good size, it was clean, we had a fireplace with free firewood. The view from the window was amazing, the free spa was good, and the night was quiet.We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place for the summer stay.

										We had an excellent stay at appartmentbuilding 4, Rooms are big enough, it was clean, everything worked, and there was enough of everything, such as cutlery, plates and cooking utensils. Location was also good, close to the slopes, unfortunately due to not enough snow, no ski in ski out, but a short walk to the slopes and lift. Supermarker close by and swimming pool was nice. The children didn't like that the sauna's and hot tubs were for 16+ years old only.

Dans le cadre du programme Adopt`1 Spot, mené avec @mountainriders, nous organisons régulièrement des opérations de ramassage de déchets sur un même site afin de suivre leur évolution et de mesurer l`impact de nos actions.

Entre 2025 et 2026, les résultats montrent une nette amélioration :
✔️ 63,1 L ➡️ 10,2 L de déchets collectés
✔️ 8,4 kg ➡️ 4,72 kg de déchets
L`analyse confirme toutefois que les mégots et les emballages alimentaires restent les déchets les plus fréquemment retrouvés.

Cette démarche est un véritable outil de suivi qui nous aide à agir durablement pour préserver nos montagnes 🏔️

Does the residence have a car park ?

Yes, the car park is located beneath the residence and you will be charged for it (please see the ‘à la carte services’ section for rates). The maximum height is 2.10 m and we advise you to book your space in advance to ensure availability. The number of spaces is limited.

Electric car charging is available, please contact reception for more information.

Our residence is located in a way that you have an easy access to the slopes.

Is the ESF meeting point far away from the residence ?

The ESF meeting point is located just near the residence, at the foot of the ski lift of Val Cenis le Haut.

Where is the swimming-pool ?

The wellness area with swimming pool is located in the 5 * Les Balcons Platinium Val Cenis residence, located next to the Les Balcons de Val Cenis Village residence.

Access to the swimming pool is free of charge. Check opening times and days on the spa page.

Puis-je choisir l'appartement dans lequel je souhaite résider ?

We try to answer each demand, but it’s important for you to note that each demand cannot be satisfied. You can add your request in your reservation and we will try our best to satisfy it.

Which coffee machines are available in the flats?

The flats are equipped with filter coffee makers.

Are pets allowed ?

Yes, your pets are welcome in our establishments, up to a limit of 2 per flat (dog or cat). Please contact us for rates and to register them in your reservation. Pets are not allowed in the spa and must remain under your full supervision.

Is there a launderette on site?

A launderette is located in the heart of the residence, in chalet 4.
