Situated at an altitude of 2,300 metres, Val Thorens is Europe’s highest ski resort, situated at the heart of the famous 3 Vallées ski area – the world’s largest ski area, with over 600 kilometres of slopes.
Thanks to an exceptional ski season, running from November to May, and generous snowfall throughout the winter, the resort offers ideal conditions for making the most of the mountains, with exceptional panoramic views.

Entirely ski-in/ski-out, Val Thorens offers a varied and accessible playground. The experience doesn’t stop at the slopes: zip lines, snowmobiles, a large toboggan run and high-altitude entertainment round off a holiday packed with thrills.

Surrounded by 6 glacier, the Val Thorens domain offers a large choice of ski itinerary to ski on the sun all day long. It’s composed with 150km of slopes all above 2000m altitude. This altitude gives the perfect natural snow which allows Val Thorens to be open from mid November until the beginning of May. Carving, off piste riding, cross country skiing, snowpark, boardercross, télémark… Val Thorens domain is the heaven of skiing.

Mountain lovers will love the gorgeous 360 landscapes on the mythical Glacier of Péclet from the Cime of Caron and on more than 1000 peaks. (french, swiss and italian)
