Room was perfect, the view incredible. Everything about the hotel/apartment is first class. Best place we have stayed so far in a ski resort. The staff were all very attentive, friendly & courteous. They clearly loved their job and it showed. The spa was excellent and access to the slopes was fantastic. All areas very clean. Would 110% recommend.

I hardly leave review but couldn't not after the experience I've had at Alparena. The hotel is beautiful and rooms are clean as you would expect. What stands out above and beyond my expectations (and loads of 5 star hotels I've visited) is the service and priority they put behind the guests. We visited with 3 other families all with kids young and teens. They were so helpful. booking us activities and restaurants and just really making us feel at home. We sat in the bar until midnight every day and the staff were always very welcoming and friendly. They all speak English which is helpful and even if they don't, they try - rather than looking at you helplessly. Even the cleaning staff were so polite and wouldn't take our lift when we were waiting behind them. It's the small things that really made our stay different and we cant thank you enough for this. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel without thinking twice and cannot wait to visit again x

Hotel is perfectly located, offering self-catering apartments with half board option. Very kid friendly in terms of being able to use the spa, however, children's menu is very limited and isn't served until 19:00. Vegetarian options are also quite poor, for example, a bowl of lentils and a bowl of pasta in a creamy sauce were the only options on two nights of our stay. Apart from that, the hotel is great and very modern - spa/swimming pool, ski shop, kids games room are all fantastic.

Exceeded Expectations From my arrival mid-day to getting quickly set-up to ski, the attention to detail from Staff and cleanliness of the hotels and rooms gives you the imprerssion the hotel just openned! The common spaces on the lower levels are well appointed and welcoming to lounging around. The room was spacious and fairly bright, good views, lots of features such as a wood buring fireplace and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was big, seperate walk-in shower with all the bells. The breakfast was top notch and the dining experience not far off. Having a ski in/out was great. The Fitness Center was like new and well equipped. The hotel is a short walk to town which is small but has offerings worth a daily walk after skiing and other options for dinner although the restaurent in the hotel is worthy of a few dinners. Knowing what I know, I'd never had gone to Club Med after and would have opted to stay with Hotel Alparena for a week instead of 4 nights.

One of my favourite places to stay, anywhere, not just in the Alps. Stayed here twice now and our return here has been just as impressive as the first time. Great location, super facilities and a very friendly team. Special mentions deserved to the individual teams, when all put together it makes a stand out experience. Thank you concierge team, the ski shop... super enthusiastic and friendly! Housekeeping... really everyone! Made our stay very special thank you.

This hotel was perfect for our girls ski trip. We shared a family suite, which gave us additional living space and was perfect for our group. The Spa facilities at the hotel were phenomenal and added real luxury to the trip. Being able to ski in and ski out was also a real benefit to the location of the hotel. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. It is worth noting that the Ski shop at the hotel isn't open all day. We arrived at lunchtime hoping to ski in the afternoon and didn't realise the ski shop would be shut, but the hotel staff helped arrange for us to visit their other shop in town to get our equipment.

This hotel is amazing on every level. Not only is it ski in, ski out, but it has the most incredible mountain views from the top floor hot tub/spa. We were also blown away by how lovely, attentive and sweet all the staff were, and the food is delicious. Every evening it feels like you're in a 5-star restaurant - the dishes are different each evening and so flavourful. The attention to detail throughout the stay is really impressive. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back!

Amazing ski-in ski-out holiday at Alparena! 😀 - We recently had a wonderful stay during the 2025-6 winter season. Great ski-in, ski-out location at a great resort; fabulous restaurant for breakfast and dinner (we took the demi pension option); excellent pool/spa facilities; large modern rooms/apartments suitable for families. 😞 - Hard to say - everything was excellent It would be good to have slightly earlier dining options for young children, who were tired after ski school

Polished Alpine Luxury with True Ski-In Ski-Out Ease Alparena is a 4 star property and one of the highest rated hotels in La Rosière, which makes sense the moment you walk in. It feels like the modern counterpoint to the classic alpine chalet. Clean architectural lines, generous glass, and a design that leans contemporary without losing that mountain warmth. After the buzz it felt polished and calm in all the right ways. The staff set the tone immediately. Welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful without hovering. The spa is a standout, thoughtfully divided into adult and children zones so everyone gets what they need. Quiet laps and steam for some, splash time for others. The ski room seals the deal with true ski in ski out access, which always feels like a small luxury at the start and end of the day and there is a ski shop attached to the hotel for all your ski gear needs. It sits about a 15 minute walk from La Rosière proper, though the free public shuttle is just a short stroll away. Eucherts is even closer at about 10 minutes on foot. You are connected, but just far enough out to feel like you have your own alpine hideaway. The only cons for us was that the property leans more family friendly which means that there are kids everywhere and if that is not what you are looking for it may not be your cup of tea. From a service standpoint while minor my only two suggestions for this property is that it is 2026 and you are already situated in an elevated dry climate area, at least two large bottles of water should be complimentary and replenished daily. It’s a small detail that makes all the difference. Lastly we were given no leniency for checkout which was strictly 10am leaving us 2 hours and 45 minutes prior to our transfer to the train station. A more flexible checkout would go a long way in helping guest feel less rushed.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The staff is amazing and really helped us with everything we needed. The team also supported me with the surprise I prepared for my boyfriend’s birthday, which made our stay even more special. The spa is incredible and so relaxing. Thank you so much – I’m sure I will be back! 🙂

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Alparena, I was treated like absolute royalty. The welcome was exceptional, I was personally given a walkthrough of the entire hotel by the staff, with everything explained and shown in detail. It’s the kind of attention that makes a huge difference, especially as so many of these features could easily be missed without being shown. The restaurant is genuinely 5-star. Fine dining at its best, with beautifully presented, gorgeous food and an overall dining experience that exceeded expectations every single time. The rooms are very modern and stylish and match the website to the tee — no surprises, just exactly what was promised (and more). The ski-in, ski-out access was incredible and honestly better than Club Med.This was, without question, the best stay I’ve ever had. Hotel Alparena sets the bar extremely high, and I would return without hesitation.

Perfect Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff were consistently polite, professional, and welcoming, making us feel genuinely cared for from check-in to departure. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable—perfect after a long day on the slopes. The spa and pool facilities are a real highlight: clean, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding. The gym is also very well equipped and maintained. The food was excellent, with high-quality dishes and great variety. The bar deserves a special mention—very nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing après-ski or enjoying an evening drink. Finally, the ski-in / ski-out access makes the whole experience effortless and truly enjoyable. Overall, an exceptional hotel in La Rosière. Highly recommended—we would absolutely return.

We spent at Hotel Alparena for 7 days, each of which was unique somehow. We had half-board, and for lunch, we ate at their terrace, which leads to the slope. The room, food, and service were outstanding. The breakfast offers a variety of healthy food and drinks. The three-course dinner was always different and soooo delicious. The property offers a lot for the kids, e.g. children's room, pool and other activities. The property is also pet-friendly.We will definitely be returning there in the future. One of the best ski resorts we have visited. I highly recommend Hotel Alparena for ski lovers, hikers or just for relaxing holidays.

Just spent a wonderful week at Alparena and I can not fault it. The welcome we got from Elisabeth (hotel manager) and her staff was fantstatic and it set the standard for the week which did not faulter. The rooms were beautiful. We stayed in a self catered suite with double bedroom, lounge/kitchen area and bunk bed for our 3 yr old. The views were amazin and the rooms etc top notch. Location was perfect, ski in/out but within easy walk for ski school meet point for those that are learning. Breakfast was standard buffet style but very pleasant and plenty of it. Couldn't really ask for more. Evening meals were extremely varied and again could not fault them. If your hoping for more standard fayre (pizzas etc) then maybe think about not going half board, if you happy with more exotic foods you will not be disappointed. Finally, the spa and swimming pool were lovely with exceptional views. I went with my wife and 3 Yr old, my little one loved the pool and play room and all staff made a huge fuss with pencils and paper etc at dinner and lunch times. Overall, can't wait to go back.

We are a family of 8. We are skiing for the past 20 years, and this was hands down the best mountain accommodation we ever had.The luxury, the attention to detail, the impeccable service, a huge apartman, impeccable cleanliness, the amazing location, true ski in/out - everything was perfect. This should be 5 stars. The biggest impression was the overall service of the whole staff - everyone was friendly, easy going, and helpful. We are already planning to come back next year to Alparena, it’s really difficult to find a better ski hotel anywhere in the Alps.

I stayed for 4 days on the apartment with 2 rooms. It's really spacious and perfect for family. Both suites have bathtubs. Nice view from the varanda. The hotel is ski in ski out. Right on the slopes. The restaurant is good, although I would expect better from breakfast. The staff are friendly, but a bit confused on providing some information. I went with my dog and they were very kind to provide a toy and some blanket. SPA is amazing, and they have some hours that kids are not allowed. Overall, I had a really nice experience and highly recommend. I would only point out the check out time at 10am and check in at 5pm could be improved.

Excellent 4-star hotel and eco-label! Very neat, attentive and personalized welcome. Thank you to the hotel manager and her husband who are just as charming and warm as they are professional. Thank you to the team they chose in their image. Its members are very welcoming, available and responsive. (+ some speak Italian, English) Rooms or Apartments. Our apart-suite was modern-chic (8-10 people) with a balcony with a panoramic view of the mountain peaks, very spacious, with a private sauna, a very well-equipped kitchen with a central island, (+ large fridge-freezer, etc.), 1 private bathroom per bedroom with balneo bath + walk-in shower, (1 shower toilet in the apartment), 1 private furnished balcony per bedroom. Everything is very practical and planned with taste and relevance. On site, in the hotel, Large spaces: restaurant, bistro, children's games room, (or older children) family, multiple individual or company games, wooden, an arcade game, well-equipped gym... .Large space (1 full half floor) with swimming pool, several jacuzzis, plsrs saunas on 3 levels including outdoor balcony, sensory showers, space (extra) treatments, massages .... I surely forget some! In + La Rosière is a welcoming village and a beautiful resort that offers a lot of activities (possibility of a package) including summer tobogganing, chairlift climbs for the panorama, hiking, mountain biking, ice rink, bowling, golf, etc... archery...not to mention the view (alt here, 1900 m). panoramic A real treat! Come and recharge your batteries, in winter (direct access to the slopes from the hotel's ski locker room, stove in the apartment-suite) and summer. My family and I recommend this fabulous hotel!:Location at the foot of the slopes and close to all amenitiesNew and clean hotelState-of-the-art contemporary decorationExceptional kind staffA very hearty half boardGood beddingSuperb spa including Japanese sun bath on the terraceSki shop in the hotelCan be improved- a little attention in the room on arrival would be welcome- the decor is so contemporary that it is a little cold (paintings? Art?)- it lacks a cozy and cozy place to read and leaf through magazines (totally absent due to covid, no doubt)- homogeneity of the dishes in the restaurant to work on, some are excellent others more average (example in a 4 star a white lady should have homemade hot chocolate and not the industrial tube)- spa open between noon and two would be better
