Biggest station of the High Maurienne, Val Cenis is made of the reunion of 3 villages : Termignon, Lanslebourg-Mont Cenis and Lanslevillard. The ski resort is perfect to relax in a natural environment at the feet of the Mont-Cenis pass.

The ski area

At the foot of the legendary Col du Mont-Cenis, between France and Italy, Val Cenis boasts the largest ski area in the Haute Maurienne Vanoise region. With 125 km of slopes and a vertical drop of nearly 1,500 m, the resort offers the perfect playground for all levels, from beginners to experienced skiers.
Thanks to easterly winds, snow cover is often generous from December to April, ensuring excellent skiing conditions throughout the season.

With long runs, fun zones, Instagram-worthy spots and exceptional panoramic views, the ski area also offers unique experiences such as the Canopée des Cimes, a platform suspended above Lake Mont-Cenis.

From one side of the valley to the other, the landscapes alternate between high altitudes, vast unspoilt expanses and forests of Swiss stone pine and larch. Just a stone’s throw from Italy, Val Cenis cultivates a true mountain spirit, focused on nature and performance.

How to come ?

In the heart of Haute Maurienne in Savoy, Val Cenis is easily accessible, no matter what your way of transportation is. Located at 522km of Paris, 234km of Lyon, 155km of Grenoble and 84km of Chambery, Val Cenis is a welcoming station in which it’s nice to live in. The Mont-Cenis mountain pass is usually open from May to October and allow you to pass from France to Italy.
