We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Raadzaam is wel om een parkeerplek bij te boeken, dit hadden wij niet gedaan waardoor we wat uitdagingen hadden. Zwembad is voornamelijk gericht op volwassen en niet voor kinderen. Voor de rest is dit een top locatie en ruim voor Franse begrippen! Kan het iedereen aanraden, alles dichtbij en toch rustig. Centrum is ook goed aan te lopen!

Bel appartement, beau bien-être. Réception uniquement à l'arrivée et au départ meilleure organisation. Ne laissez pas les clients faire la queue 2 fois pour récupérer les clés. Première inscription parce que l'appartement n'est pas prêt et qu'il faut ensuite revenir pour récupérer la clé. Ce n'est pas amusant après un voyage de 12 heures en voiture.

3rd time of staying. This year was in apartment 119. Although bathrooms and kitchen have had a refresh there are some maintenance issues - slow draining showers. Slow to refill toilets. Broken bed frames, stuff that generally isn’t going to get fixed whilst we’re staying. Views are still epic (when the cloud lifts). Spa is a great addition. If you’re staying half board the food in the restaurant is good and plentiful. We’ll be back!

There were many bad reviews that we read before our arrival so we had zero expectations considering that it is France and it is Val Thorens which means almost every accommodation is bare minimum. So you can imagine our pleasant surprise when we arrived to find out our apartment is fully renovated, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms one with the shower the other one with bathtub, big dinning area for 8 persons even though it was 6 of us. It is fully ski in-ski out. There are two really good restaurants in the complex as well as the supermarket. There is private spa for all the guests of the Les Balcons. Views from the rooms are just perfect! Would go again definitely!

Grundsätzlich liegt die Unterkunft gut, allerdings ist die Abfahrt der letzten Piste zum Haus schwierig und für Anfänger sehr herausfordernd. Der Check in, obwohl vorher alles online abgefragt wird, dauert extrem lange. Man ist auf den Ansturm am Anreise Tag Samstag Nachmittag nicht gut vorbereitet. Die Wohnungen haben eine gute Größe auch für große Gruppen, allerdings ist alles ziemlich abgewohnt und sehr spartanisch ausgestattet. Die Bäder müssten unbedingt renoviert werden. Die Betten sind leider auch nicht sehr bequem und knarren wenn man sich bewegt. Wellness Bereich sehr voll nachmittags. Poolwasser milchig, Sauna zu klein und nur mit Textilien zu nutzen. Dampfbad viel zu heiß eingestellt. Alles in allem ok, aber für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet.

2026 was the fourth time my family stayed at Les Balcons. Every year the group has got bigger and this year we were 10 adults, 4 children and one baby. The apartment we were allocated on the top floor of building 5 was great. The kitchen facilities were good and we enjoyed being able to sit round the big table both for meals and playing cards! The bedrooms were fine with each having its own bathroom.

Good location. Ski out is excellent but ski in is a bit to be desired. The ski in is on a very icy black/red slope and a bridge to walk across which is always extremely icy. I saw many people slip and hurt themselves on here so be aware. The spa is nice but the outdoor sauna wasn’t working all week which was disappointing

These apartments are of a high standard and allow for a wide range of group sizes. Nicely furnished and spacious with a good size kitchen our apartment easily accommodated our party of 10. The spa is a great bonus and a lovely way to relax after a hard days skiing. The onsite restaurant is also excellent offering high quality food both at breakfast and for evening meals. All in all a good place to stay in Val Thorens

Overall great venue. Very clean. although does need modernised in places only one toilet available in 6 person apartment. Reception staff were great but process’s of checking in was painfully slow due to lack of staff. Ski out was great but ski in was for very experienced skier only. Part of spa roof fell into hot tub while we were in it! Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Overall spa facility was otherwise fantastic and very welcome after a long day on the slopes. Overall would happily return.

😀 - The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped for a week long stay. The spa was perfect and we used it almost on daily basis. the staff was helpful and courteous. Proximity to a supermarket and 2-3 great restaurants made it very convenient for a night out. The location was great and the ski-out was very good. Overall great value and bang for buck. 😞 - The Ski-in was a very steep red (with moguls) and we didn't end up using it. As a couple we expected a queen bed but they provided two single beds joint together which wasn't the most comfortable.

Everything you need in one place 😀 - Good ski out (depending on the chalet you get assigned). Great pool/spa area but a bit busy in peak times Intersport, Supermarket and restaurants all very close. Parking easy (but was told to use a silly entrance that involved tight corners and going down levels, when there is a flat entrance at other end) Having electric car chargers available was good. Apparent was nicer than photos - better laid out and renovated 😞 - Ski in tricky for some - it’s a red that spins off Plein Sud, it got groomed once during the week but soon forms moguls

I’m here with my family and although some of the previous reviews had me worried I was pleasantly surprised at the great service the staff had as well as the interior of the rooms in my opinion which was nice and newly renovated.It’s such a breeze to shop eat ski, get some fresh air from the crowds.I’d love to come again if there are good deals to be had!

We had a fantastic experience staying here. Ski in/Ski out, the apartment was very large & spacious. The two restaurants were lovely, there is a supermarket next door and it is a short walk to other parts of Val Thorens.11 of us stayed here and we all agreed it was fantastic. The Spa was incredible too. The reception staff were also super helpful and polite.

We stayed second week of January 2026 and were very happy with the accommodation. Despite other reports, our 2 bedroom apartment in Block 3 was in great decorative order, clean and very spacious for three of us. Parking beneath the apartment is a real bonus with good safe access to the building. The boot room was excellent and the heaters/driers worked well unlike many other places we had stayed.I have to give a big shout out to Alexandre. We had an issue with the billing system when using the EV charger in the car park. Alexandre took full ownership of the problem and managed to sort out an excellent solution so a huge thanks to him.Overall... highly recommended

The rooms are a bit outdated and noisy. But we had three floors for ten people and everyone had their own bathroom with bathtub and toilet (spacious). The location is absolutely amazing, with easy ski in and out. A nice supermarket and two lovely restaurants close by, around 5 minutes walking. The parking is very easy and close by the apartments.The service was also very good, we had some minor issues with our room (one shower was slightly clogged and the dishwasher was missing a piece) which they fixed on the same day. They were also very helpful with some of our requests around parking. Last but not least, everyone loved the spa and the appartment and area around it are very dog friendly. Our Samoyed Bob could not get enough playing around in the snow.If you want luxury rooms, this is not exactly it, but for this price it is very comfortable and absolutely worth it for all the rest.

We had the best time ever 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year 2025-2026. Thanks to the wonderful team, for the awesome appartment, the daily dose of wellness for us adults and our 3 kids, the champagne to new year and so on. It was unforgetable, the location, the house, but mostly the team. thank you! Happy to see you all in one year again. Perfect place to stay in Val Thorens, Ski in and out, Supermarket, Parking Spaces etc. Not cheap, but every euro worth it!

The place was clean. The apartment was spacious, as well as the kitchen - which is super rare in a ski station (and well equipped). We could access the ski slopes right from the bottom of the apartments. The spa is great after a big day of skiing, especially with the view on the mountains

We stayed at Les Balcons with a group of eight from 6 December 2025 to 13 December and genuinely could not recommend it highly enough. Our group was a mix of people in their 20s, our middle-aged parents, and my younger sister, and the accommodation worked well for all of us.||To get the minor negatives out of the way first. We had an issue with the shower leaking, but it was manageable and we did not raise it with reception as we were able to deal with it using towels. The dishwasher was a little temperamental and did not always clean everything properly, so we occasionally had to wash a few items by hand. While the property is definitely ski in/ski out, access via Plein Sud is a very busy and steep blue run, which could be challenging for beginners. There is an even closer access point via a red run, which is steeper still and may not always be groomed overnight. Personally, I had no issues using either route, but I can appreciate that less confident skiers might find it tricky. Lastly, Val Thorens is well known for its nightlife, so it does get noisy at night and good earplugs are strongly recommended.||That said, the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. The reception staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. Although official check-in was at 5 pm, we arrived at around 1 pm and were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in early. Underground parking was available at €90 per car for the week, which we felt was reasonable. The apartment was exactly as described, which is increasingly rare. There were three well-proportioned bedrooms, ideal for couples, each with generous wardrobe space. Bedding, linen and towels were all provided together with washing equipment.||The kitchen was well equipped overall, aside from the dishwasher issue. We also appreciated the separate ski storage room located outside the apartment. Les Balcons itself is extremely convenient, with a Sherpa supermarket, ski shop and restaurant on site, as well as a lovely pub right next door.||The ski in/ski out access was a real highlight. The walk to and from the slopes was no more than two minutes via Plein Sud, and even quicker if taking the red run. For me, this level of convenience made a huge difference to the overall experience.||The standout feature, however, was undoubtedly the spa. The facilities were excellent, with three jacuzzis, a large pool, a smaller pool, and several saunas. Although it can get busy, which is to be expected, the spa is spacious enough to accommodate large numbers comfortably. My favourite feature was the outdoor hot tub, offering stunning views over Val Thorens. You can even see the Plein Sud chairlift from the spa, which made for a fun novelty of waving at skiers passing by.||Overall, we were extremely impressed with Les Balcons, and when we return to Val Thorens, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was here with my daughter her boyfriend and my son. The apartment was fine really was it’s a ski resort and have stopped in some really small places but this was fine all was clean , warm and had all what we needed.|Then the half board all we can say is WOW it was bloody brilliant.|The service, the food was excellent. We were always informed of what our evening meal consisted of and the staff and service was excellent.|We were going on the Friday out for a meal ( my birthday present from my kids ) somewhere else but we all agreed to stop as the food was excellent.|The staff were all very pleasant and helpful |The facilities of the spa were great ( yes it gets busy after skiing) but that’s to be expected.|The ski room lower down was great , heated and big enough for all four skis , boots and trainers.|The ski in ski out is fine ………..out is really easy but the ski in can be a bit tricky on one slope but lower down is easier but needs a bit of a walk up to hill||So, overall the accommodation (having skied for over 40 years ) was really really good you can always find faults but believe you me I’ve stopped is some really dire places but for sure this was excellent even my son 33 and my daughter 30 really said it was great|Overhaul a great hotel and great resort|I hope this helps people as I constantly look at reviews of where I’m wanting to go and always look at the positives and the negatives and understand these days people prefer to complain rather than complement ( that’s just how people are these days)|Many thanks all the staff you delivered and we had a great ski holiday!!!!!!!

Really nice spacious well equipped apartment. Staff very helpful and responsive - sent a technician straight away to fix a few things that weren't quite right - he did a great job very quickly. Good access to slopes and the Spa was a great bonus (all included). Very good value for money would definitley use this company again.

We have been here twice, with our 3 young children. The staff are so incredibly accommodating and kind, and patient! They cater to the needs of small people and are fun too, we have had colouring and toys gifted. The accommodation is decent, spacious, clean and comfortable. The 3 course meals are a good size and filling. We have been twice, and are going to the sister hotel in Belle Plagne this Christmas and will be back here again. Thank you to the owner and all her wonderful staff!|With love from the family that get the corner table, with twin girls and a little pesty boy! You made it great ❄️

Great location at the top of Val Thorens with views over town and of the valley. Good sized apartments and brilliant facilities with the spa and pool. Staff super helpful and ski hire etc all on site. Ski in and out if you are okay with a short steep mogul section on the way home. We love these apartments and it is hard to find anywhere with better location and facilities for the price. Great for two families sharing.

All in all everything was good. The rooms are nice and check in was pretty smooth. Location is great from a skiing point of view but a little bit further out for shops and restaurants.The spa is really nice to have but gets very busy and could do with a little more attention to detail from a cleanliness point of view.Overall would happily stay again and feel it was good value for money.

14 of us stayed a room 586 in Les Balcons for a week, we were on holiday for skiing and snowboarding.We had a easy check in and out, the apartment was very spacious in the kitchen/ living area with plenty of facilities like :-MicrowaveOven/grill/ hobDishwasherFridge freezerToasterCoffee maker and kettleCutlery, plates, pots and pans glasses and cups.There is a bed settee in the lounge area and a big tv too.The bedrooms are only small with two small single beds but sufficient.We never used the service so I only marked 3 stars.The location is a bit out of the main part of town but about 15 minutes walk to the main bars, beautiful views though and the spa is fantastic.Very clean place, our shower holder was broken in our room so maybe a few updates and repairs needed but overall I thought it was a lovely place.
