Where is the Residence Les Balcons de Val Thorens located ?

Does the residence have a parking ?
The parking is under the residence and will be invoiced (Please see the ‘à la carte services’ section for prices). The maximum height is of 2,10m and we advise you to reserve your spot in advance to insure you an availability. The spots are limited.
You can also use the resort’s car parks, bookable via ValThoparc :
Does the car park have electric recharging points?
We have 7 Wallbox 11kW charging points for electric vehicles in the car park. Please contact reception for details.
Are the slopes easily accessible from the residence ?
Our residence is located in a way that allow you an all ski-in, ski-out experience via a blue slope. The ski-in is possible via the Plein Sud slope just near the calets. The end of the slope is quite technical and may not be appropriated for begginers. In this case, it’s possible for you to continue the Plein Sud slope until the road an then come back to the chalets with a 5min walk.
Is the ESF meeting point far away from the residence ?
From the first star, there is an ESF pick-up in front of the Spa entrance (by the footbridge on the terrace of chalet 3) for morning lessons. The other ESF pick-ups for group lessons and childcare are 500m from the residence – Rue du Soleil – via the blue Castor et Pollux piste. There is also a free shuttle bus from the residence reception for those who don’t know how to ski.
Note: ESF pick-ups are available on request and are subject to a minimum number of children.

Where is the pool located ?
The swimming pool is located in chalet 2 of the residence. All chalets have outside access. Changing rooms and lockers are available on site. Please allow €1 for the locker.
Can I choose the flat I want to live in?
We try to accommodate everyone’s flat allocation requirements, however it is important to note that not all requests can be accommodated. You can include your requests in your booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Is there a launderette in the residence ?
Yes, there is a launderette in chalet 2, next to the games room and gym. Payment is by credit card.
Are pets allowed ?
Yes, your pets are welcome in our establishments, up to a limit of 2 per flat (dog or cat). Please contact us for prices and to register them in your reservation. Pets are not allowed in the spa and must remain under your full supervision
